The AMCASH project is a part-ERDF funded initiative established to support small-to-medium sized businesses (SMEs) across four Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP) areas; Greater Birmingham & Solihull, Black Country, Coventry & Warwickshire and The Marches.

Areas of support include industrial research and New Product Development across microscopy, polymer technology and computational modelling.

Microscopy:
Microstructure evaluation, micro-analysis and mechanical testing of metals, alloys, ceramics and composites using unique characterisation facilities.

Polymer Technology:
Primarily concerns the effect of chemical structure, processing methods and morphology on the thermal and mechanical properties of polymers.

Computational Modelling:
Advanced materials simulation and manufacturing modelling.

We are able to offer a minimum of two days work for qualifying SMEs. AMCASH offers a wide range of support including:

  • Access to R&D facilities
  • Analytical services
  • Research
  • Consultancy
  • Collaborative projects

Am I eligible for support?

If you are an SME based in one of the four LEP areas with less than 250 employees and less than €50m turnover then you could be eligible for support.
